Description of the case

Part fabricated from 100% from Hardox® 450, even back support bracket. Customer stated the extreme wear was just in the area where we applied Complex Carbide overlay wire in multiple Pass.

Used material in wear area: Hardox® 450 plus Complex Carbide = Duroxite® 201
Previous material: unknown

Result: Customer reported 3X life. The Hardox® in this wear part supported the overlay process eliminating premature flaking off of overlay..
