Scraper hoppers

Scrapers are large earthmoving machines used in construction, mining, agriculture and other similar applications. The rear area has a hopper that moves up and down, with a sharp horizontal front edge or blade. 

This replaceable blade cuts into the soil to fill the hopper. When the hopper is full, the scraper can transport its load to the fill area, where the load is dumped. Blades made in premium Hardox® steel can help you excavate, haul and dump longer.
