Common types of harrows include disc harrows, tine harrows, chain harrows and chain-disc harrows. Harrows break up and redistribute soil before crops are planted or for weed control. A disc harrow has cutting edges consisting of a row of concave discs set at an oblique angle. Its discs are normally made in boron steel.
Hardox® is used mainly for disc and tine harrows. Compared with using boron, you can improve service life and get quicker delivery when you avoid the time-consuming heat treatment needed for boron.
