The hammers are used for aluminuim can scrap.
Originally the hammers were cut / fabricated from astralloy V plate. The hammers were overlayed with tungsten carbide.
The hammers have been redesigned to be cut from Hardox® 450 steel plate and hardfaced with complex carbide overlay.
