Description of the case
In ripper shanks for ground preparation, high product quality really pays off. The shank is sensitive to 90⁰ turns by inexperienced drivers and breaks easily. Conventional shanks are normally made of high alloy steel and forged. They will not reach the same level of toughness as quenched and tempered Hardox® and Strenx®. Shanks in Hardox® HiTuf and Strenx® 700 are tough and have proven to be extremely resistant to breaking.
