Power shovel buckets

A power shovel (also called an electric rope shovel or electric mining shovel) is usually electrically powered, and digs fragmented rocks for mineral extraction. The bucket on a power shovel takes a mighty beating as it digs, swings and dumps in repeated cycles. 

The power shovel bucket’s cutting edge is normally produced through high alloy casting. By manufacturing the cutting edges in Strenx® 700 and wear bars in Hardox® steel, you achieve cost savings, easier maintenance and a longer service life.
