Dragline bucket lip shrouds with long service life

Description of the case

The draglines are feeding crushers in quarries and cement plants. The buckets are perforated because they are under water. We used the SSAB branded products- Duroxite® 201 (Hardox® 450 fabricated weld on LIP SHROUDS - JAW SHROUDS and OUTSIDE BOTTOM HEEL PADS with a multiple-pass complex carbide overlay on a Hardox® 450 backing plate.) Our Duroxite® 201 shrouds and heel pads wear min 2x longer than the original casting shrouds. In Miami where all draglines are feeding crushing plants, our weld on shrouds will reduce the downtime significantly.
