Also this year, Winkelbauer Maschinenbau GmbH of Anger Austria organized a day for their customers to present their offering, new products and wear parts made of Hardox wear plate.
Winkelbauer Maschinenbau, a Hardox Wearparts member of Austria invited end users for a day of interesting lectures. All partners were invited to introduce themselves and present important messages to the end users, primarily within abrasion, demolition and recycling industries.
SSAB talked about the situation in the steel market and our technicians explained the importance of toughness in Hardox to prevent the risk of cracking. They also talked about sustainability, that thinner applications can extend the service life while it in the same time benefits the environment.
There were also a lecture about SSAB's tool steel Toolox and representatives from other partners such as Promove and VTN from Italy spoke.
There was also an interesting exhibition where guests could look at different products, such as wear parts out of Hardox, buckets with associated equipment, hydraulic hammers and equipment for the recycling industry.
Since the theme was wear, demolition and recycling, Hardox wear plate was the main object during the day and it is also the main product for most of the partners that Winkelbauer have.
In addition to this, it was also possible to get a tour of the workshop, and to view demonstrations of products in action.
